Cromwell Bowls: Our Place in the Sun
Located at 50 Alpha Street Cromwell the Cromwell Bowling Club incorporates an outdoor artificial green, an indoor facility and comfortable club rooms. We have been a registered charitable organisation since July 2014.
Membership of the Cromwell Bowling Club is open to women and men of all ages, and we offer a warm welcome to anyone in our community who'd like to learn bowls, or return to bowls, and meet a whole lot of new people along the way.
Cromwell Bowls is also home to a range of affiliated community organisations.
We are a combined membership club having a strong contingent of men's and women's teams who compete locally and regionally, but we also have many players who are very happy to play non-competitive games on the Cromwell Bowling Club Green and enjoy the welcoming clubrooms afterwards to chat and socialise.
Cromwell Bowls has two regular social bowls sessions each week, Wednesday mornings and Friday afternoons in the summer (both weather permitting). In the winter Friday afternoons switch to Saturday afternoons, and Wednesday mornings switch to Tuesday afternoons. Everyone is welcome to play on these regular half-days and if you are a new player we will team you up with someone to give you a little coaching along the way. We also have bowls we can lend you, because we want to make it as easy as possible for you to get started. And if you have other questions then please email cromwellbowls@gmail.com or contact us , Click to make contact and one of us will be in touch. We're a friendly bunch so don't be shy !
